Aborvac-S Cow
Adult calves older than 6 months are used to donate against brucellosis. It does not apply to pregnant animals and male calves / bulls.
Composition:
ABORVAC-S Cow is an attenuated live lyophilized vaccine prepared from B. abortus S 19 vaccine strain. One dose of vaccine contains 1-3×109 live B. abortus S 19 bacteria, and each lyophilised vaccine bottle as stabilizer: Enzymatic digest of Casein (Casiton) 6.25 mg, Sucrose 12.5 mg, sodium glutamate 2.5 mg.

Method of Application and Dosage:
- Vaccine diluted with special dilution fluid. It is applied by injecting subcutaneous 1 ml to the right side of the neck.
- ABORVAC-S CowVaccine is made to healthy female calves and non-pregnant cattle.
- The vaccine provides better protection for those who are vaccinated without conception after birth (after 1 birth interval).
- Vaccinated animals are marked with permanent marks.
- A separate needle should be used for each animal in vaccination.
- After vaccination, animals are recommended to be kept in a cool environment for 2 days.
- Small stiff bumps and slight body temperature increase, which can sometimes be seen at the injection site, are considered as normal vaccine reaction.
- The practitioner must follow the rules of asepsis and antisepsis and use gloves and a mask during vaccination. If necessary, wash the parts that come into contact with the vaccine with antiseptics.
Warning:
- The reconstituted vaccine should be used within 2 hours.
Side effects:
In rare cases, in case of anaphylactic shock that may develop within 2 hours following vaccination, it should be given by subcutaneous route 10 times at 12 hours intervals from 1/5000 Atropine Sulfate solution.
Legal Purification Time:
The vaccinated animals should not be sent to slaughter for 3 months.
Storage Conditions:
The vaccine is stored in the dark environment and at +2 / +8 ° C.

Lyophilized vaccines in bottles of 2 – 5 – 10 – 20 and 50 doses; It is packaged with 2 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml, 20 ml and 50 ml special dilution liquid.
Disposal Conditions of Vaccines That Should Be Destroyed:
In the disposal of ABORVAC-S Cow Vaccine, the bottle, together with its contents, should be autoclaved (30 minutes at 121 ° C) without opening and thrown into the septic tank. If destruction is to be carried out in field conditions; Half and empty vaccine bottles should be buried in the soil after boiling in water for at least 5 minutes.
