Aborvac-R CS
It is used to immunize 3-6 months old female – male lambs and kids and non-pregnant adult sheep and goats against brucellosis.
Composition:
ABORVAC-R CS is an attenuated live lyophilized vaccine prepared from B. melitensis Rev.1 Vaccine strain. One dose of vaccine contains 0.5 – 2×109 (CFU) live bacteria. As a stabilizer in a 100-dose lyophilized vaccine: Enzymatic digest of Casein (Casiton) contains 6.25 mg, Sucrose 12.5 mg and sodium glutamate 2.5 mg.
Indications and Contraindications:
It is used to immunize 3-6 months old female – male lambs and kids and non-pregnant adult sheep and goats against brucellosis.
It is recommended for herd vaccination, especially in farms and regions where B. melitensis is common. It should not be used up to 5 months of pregnancy starting 30 days prior to coaching.
Method of Application and Dosage:
- The lyophilized vaccine mixed with special dyed dilution liquid (1-2-4 and 8 ml) is made homogeneous.
- The prepared vaccine is applied by dropping 1 drop (40 ± 2 µl) into the animal’s eye.
- ABORVAC-R CSVaccine is made for healthy female – male lambs and kids and non-pregnant sheep and goats.
- Vaccinated animals are marked with permanent marks.
- It is recommended to keep the animals in a cool environment for 2 days after vaccination.
- The practitioner must follow the rules of asepsis and antisepsis and use gloves and a mask during vaccination.
- Parts in contact with the vaccine should be washed with antiseptics.
Warning:
The reconstituted vaccine should be used within 2 hours. Reconstituted vaccines not used with half or empty vaccine bottles should be buried deep in the soil after boiling for at least 5 minutes in water to prevent contamination.
Side effects:
In rare cases, in case of anaphylactic shock that may develop within 2 hours following vaccination, it should be given by subcutaneous route 10 times at 12 hours intervals from 1/5000 Atropine Sulfate solution.
Disposal Conditions for Vaccines to be Disposed:
Vaccines to be destroyed are inactivated in autoclave (30 minutes at 121 ° C) and discarded into the septic tank. In field conditions, the vaccine is buried deep in the ground after boiling for 5 minutes in a container with enough water in it.
Legal Purification Time:
Vaccinated animals should not be slaughtered after 3 months.
Storage Conditions:
The vaccine is stored in the dark environment and at +2 ° C / + 8 ° C.
Packaging shape:
25 doses of lyophilized vaccines 1 ml 50 doses of lyophilized vaccines 2 ml, 100 doses of lyophilized vaccines 4 ml and 200 doses of lyophilized vaccines are packaged with 8 ml special dyed dilution fluid. In addition, each package contains 1 sterile dropper.
