It has a protective effect against foot and mouth disease caused by foot and mouth disease (aphthovirus).

Composition:

Contains inactive screed virus produced in tissue culture. The amount of immunogen virus in a bovine dose is at least 5 µg for type O and at least 2.2 µg for other serotypes. It is prepared by adding oil emission to the purified inactive screed virus. The vaccine virus serotype (s) contained in the vaccine is stated on the label on the bottles.

Indications:

It has a protective effect against foot and mouth disease caused by foot and mouth disease (aphthovirus).

Contraindications:

No studies have been carried out with AFTOVAC-OIL in this direction yet; however, it is planned to conduct research in this context in the near future.

Method of application and dosage:

In sheep and goats, it is applied 5 cm from the breastbone to the middle region near the neck, subcutaneously or intramuscularly. In cattle, it is applied 15 cm beyond the breastbone, subcutaneously or intramuscularly from the side of the neck.

Warnings :

The product must be applied and followed by the legal authorities. The manufacturer is not responsible for the results resulting from the applications made by people other than the authorities. In case of an unexpected effect, the closest veterinarian should be consulted.

Side effects :

It is normal for a painless swelling to occur in the inoculation area and mild short-term fever. Local swelling disappears after 4-5 weeks. In milking animals, a temporary decrease in milk yield can be observed. Allergic reaction formation at the vaccination site is very rare. Legal purification period:

Storage Conditions:

Store at + 2 ° C / + 8 ° C (under refrigerator conditions). It should never be frozen, it should be kept away from light and heat.

Stability and Shelf Life:

While AFTOVAC-OIL is kept at + 2 ° C / + 8 ° C for a few weeks, it can be seen that the primary oil emulsion and the outer water part are slightly separated from each other, but this does not indicate that the emulsion is broken. When the bottle is shaken well, double emulsion occurs again. The shelf life of the vaccine is 18 months at + 2 ° C / + 8 ° C.

Packaging shape:

It is packaged in brown glass bottles with a volume of 45 and 100 ml.

Disposal Conditions:

In the disposal process of AFTOVAC-OIL, the bottle should be autoclaved (121 ° C, 60 minutes) with its contents unopened and thrown into the septic tank pit.
