Trichovak

It is used in the prevention and treatment of Trichophytosis disease in cattle (calf calf, cow). The vaccine is harmless for healthy animals and does not produce trichophytosis. It should not be used in severe infectious diseases.

Composition:

TRICHOVAK is a live attenuated lyophilized vaccine prepared from Trichophyton verrucosum TF-130 strain. A bovine dose contains 6 -12 x 107 T. verrucosum spores. The ten-dose vaccine contains 125 mg sucrose and 25 mg gelatin.

Indication and Contraindication:

It is used in the prevention and treatment of Trichophytosis disease in cattle (calf calf, cow). The vaccine is harmless for healthy animals and does not produce trichophytosis. It should not be used in severe infectious diseases.

Method of Application and Dosage:

The lyophilized vaccine is prepared by dissolving it with dilution fluid and administered IM. For this purpose, 40 ml dilution fluid is used, for example, for a 10-dose vaccine. The vaccine prepared by homogenizing, for prophylactic purposes; 2 ml for calves and 4 ml for calves and cattle for therapeutic purposes; 4 ml of calves, calves and cattle are injected intravenously in 8 ml of rump. During the application, the injection site is shaved and wiped with 70% alcohol. After 10-14 days, the second dose is administered in the same place and in the same dose. Animals severely affected by Trichophytosis may receive a third dose 10 days after the 2nd vaccine.

Warning:

This product should be applied and followed by its legal authorities. The manufacturer is not responsible for the results arising from the application made outside of the authorized persons. Diluted vaccine should be used within 2 hours of preparation.

Side effects:

In some animals, a superficial layer up to 20 mm in diameter may form at the application site 10-15 days after the second vaccine. However, medication should not be intervened. After 20-25 days, these skin shells fall off by themselves. The treatment effect observed with thinning and falling of trichophytic shells is seen after 15-30 days after the second vaccine. Vaseline, fish oil and similar emollients can be applied to the lesions to ensure the trichocytic crusts fall.

Disposal Conditions:

After being kept in autoclave for 30 minutes at 121 ° C, it is thrown into the septic tank. In field conditions, vaccine bottles and injectors should be boiled for 40 minutes and buried deep in the ground.

Legal Purification Time:

The vaccinated animals should not be sent to slaughter before 28 days have passed.

Storage Conditions:

The vaccine should be stored in a dry and light free environment at +2 ° C / + 8 ° C.

Packaging:

Available in lyophilised pellets in glass bottles of 8 – 20 ml in 1,2,5,10,20 and 40 doses. Reconstitution fluids are packaged in 4, 8, 20, 40, 80 and 160 ml glass bottles.
